Seaming without Limits!

The RAS 22.07 SpeedySeamer with seven rollforming stations is a multi-functional and cost-efficient machine for varying uses in the HVAC ducting industry. The top of the line RAS 22.09 SpeedySeamer is a 9-station high quality system. Both machines are designed for sheet thicknesses up to 1.5 mm mild steel. The profiles can be as high as 20 mm and the machines reach a speed of 16 m/min.

The machines can have two sets of rolls set up at a time. This allows to have a set of Pittsburgh Rolls on one side and a set of Standing Seam Rolls on the other side. The same could be done with a set of Snap Lock Rolls on one side and Cam Standing Rolls on the other. The rolls are made from the highest quality case-hardened special steel. For additional safety the sheet support tables can be adjusted to the different run heights of the right and left roller set.

Roller shafts, housed in axial and radial roller bearings, provide high-quality profiles. A wide gear box supports the roller shafts in the best possible way. The high-quality gear motor ensures smooth and quite running. It brings the drive power directly to rolls without transfer gears or belt drives in between.

The wear resistant and hardened entrance guiding system is not in contact with the usually plasma-cut material edges. Graved run-in sheet support tables thus belong to the past. Blanks stiffened with Z-seams can be processed easily, as the material guiding system uses downhold pins in the squaring arm. An optional leveling unit allows to straighten seamed blanks or round them for radius cheeks.

The RAS 21.20 flanging machine turns up 90 degree flanges on radius cheeks so that the parts are ready for Pittsburgh or Snaplock joints. Quick, Safe, Cost efficient.

The operation speed is variable between 0 and 9.4 m/min. In addition the machine can be operated with 230V from a standard wall outlet. The large flanging rolls produce uniform and non-wavy results even on small radii.

The optional automatic material guiding system helps create consistent flange heights. The rolls in the top attachment pierce and offset the buttons for the CAM Standing Seam in a single pass. The machine comes with an extended material support area in front and behind the forming station. Accuracy and high quality as usual from RAS.

Intelligent Swaging Machine!

RAS introduces the EasyFormer, the second generation of intelligent swaging machines. They actually “learn” as you swage and flange!

When you’re ready to produce the first work piece, just press the “Teach” function. The glass panel touch control automatically memorizes when, and how you set the upper wheel or change the rotation of the wheels. When you insert the next work piece, the system automatically “clones” the entire operation.

The machine operator only has to lead the workpiece, and regulate its speed with the footswitch. The glass panel touch control stores up to ten programs, for use in the future.

The unique UnLock safety function meets the highest safety standards. If at risk, simply pull one of the UnLock levers left or right on the machine frame and the rolls open immediately.

Limitless versatile!

The motorized or manual driven swaging machines include 9 pair of swaging wheels and a divided large stop plate in the standard configuration. The speed (RAS 11.35) can be adjusted by means of a foot switch.
