Discover the innovatively developed SER1200 Multibrush finishing machine, designed with 4 processing stations and 17 controllable motors. The entire finishing machine can be operated via the HMI touchscreen, which is very intuitively designed and ensures effortless operation. With the touchscreen, it is easy to choose different finishing programs, which leads to high reproducibility of the quality of the products and prevents setup errors by the operator. In the first station of the finishing machine,burrs and imperfections are removed with a grinding belt, resulting in a flat, burr-free surface. After grinding, four oscillating disc brushes follow that exert light pressure on the product, ensuring a rounding on both inner and outer contours. As a final operation, the Multibrush, wich ensures your product is perfectly finished. The six brushes provide a non-directional finish and round the edges with a radius of 2+ mm, giving the product a high-quality and durable appearance.

The SER finishing machine utilizes a unique brush combination, in which Q-Fin is the only one in the market to offer this combination, which we call: “The Ultimate Qombination’’. A radius of 2+ mm is possible through a single pass.

Q-Fin Deslagging Machines

Remove slag from your steel parts quickly and efficiently without any effort.

600mm wide or 1200mm wide options

Deslagging is a labour-intensive, dirty job which still often involves the use of a hammer and chisel. Or an electrically powered hand-held machine is used. Because of the heavy workload for both the operator and the hand machine, these hand machines have to be replaced regularly. This causes high costs, an extra waste flow and possible health problems (e.g. HAVS) for the operator.

The manual removal of slag is time-consuming and burdensome for both the operator and the machines, leading to high costs and wear. The DS600 and DS1200, specifically developed by Q-Fin, automatically remove slag after plasma or oxy-fuel cutting. These machines can be easily integrated into any production line, removing slag before the product reaches the deburring machine for edge rounding.

The removed waste material is collected in a bin and can be disposed of as scrap. By performing slag removal separately, contamination in the deburring machine is prevented.

Both models are ergonomically designed with a touchscreen control for ease of use. The slag is effectively removed by two counter-rotating slag breaker rollers, which strike the product twice per revolution. The result is a flat product ready for further finishing.

Q-Fin Return Conveyor Belts

Easily return finished products to the front of the machine.

Why have two operators around the deburring machine when the job can be done by one operator? A return conveyor makes processing of the sheet metal parts twice as efficient by automatically returning the products to the front of the machine. This eliminates the need to catch and stack finished parts at the back of the machine. The productivity of the first operator is doubled.

The Q-Fin CB400 and CB800 return conveyor belts improve workflow and create an efficient solution for handling sheet metal parts without the need for an additional operator. The use of a return conveyor on a Q-Fin deburring and finishing machine means that products already finished on one side are returned to the operator on the infeed side of the machine. If desired, the operator can put the products through the machine again to finish the second side of the product as well. Or he stacks the products so that they can proceed to the next production step.

The result is more efficient material handling and labour savings. The independently adjustable speed control of the return belt, which is matched to the throughput of the Q-Fin deburring machine, enables the operator to process small to large series of products with little effort.
There is a suitable return conveyor for every type of Q-Fin machine. The CB400-200 consists of a 400 mm wide conveyor belt with a chute and is suitable for installation on the F200 XL. The other return belts consist of a set of two tables. The frames of these separate tables are fitted with wheels so that you can easily move them to the side when not in use.
