The RAS 12.65 swaging machines actually "learns" as you swage or flange. When you machine the first work piece in a job, just press the "Auto-Teach" function. The computer processor memorises when, and how, you set the upper wheel. When you insert the second work piece in the job sequence, the system "clones" the entire operation.

The machine operator only has to lead the workpiece, and regulate its speed with the footswitch. You can store several part programs, so that you can run these parts again in the future.

Ramp It Up ...The Machine Can Handle It!

Feel free to crank the system up to full bore. The unique RAS "Outlook" function anticipates when you're going too fast before the rotation direction changes, and the machine automatically lowers the rotation speed.

The heavy duty motor that drives the upper and lower wheels virtually guarantees perfectly synchronous runs. And the wheels themselves are made of case hardened steel and run on needle bearings. This means top quality machining and long lasting accuracy.

An innovative path measuring system precisely records the track that the sheet has covered between the wheels. This is critical to assure that every setting of the upper wheel will be performed at the same time, so that top quality is maintained on all runs.

When clamping and releasing, the upper wheel runs in a rapid motion. However, for precise setting during the forming process the upper wheel slowly penetrates the sheet. The digital display shows the actual upper wheel position at any time
