The SpeedPunch 500 closes the gap between hard-tooled stamping presses and punching/nibbling machines to perfection. A punch tool cassette holds 27 "Thick Turret" style tools in sizes A thru D. It offers 1200 strokes per minute for nibbling and 1600 strokes for marking. Other additional criteria's for high-speed production include: the axis starts and stops with two times earths gravitational acceleration (2g) therefore fine tuned to the highest dynamics. Secondly, the punching cylinder contacts each tool in the punching cassette within milliseconds. Thirdly, the material moves in one direction only, thus reducing the amount of material travel.
