Simasv Corner Notches
Fixed or Variable angle notching machines

Robust 'C' shaped structures that are capable of supporting considerable stress. Guided downward stroke of mobile unit, equipped with hydraulic locks to ensure a perfect cut that starts from the apex or the bottom and cast iron workbench with conical grooves for optimal adherence of the squares.

FIXED ANGLE NOTCHING MACHINES - AF/B - AF/P

The fixed angle notching machines are available in two versions: the AF/B and the AF/P models. The parts common to the two versions are the compact structure, the shearing head in GS500 fusion with downwards movement, the workbench fitted with conical slots for housing of the squares. The conical form of the slots has been especially designed to give greater rigidity to the squares to guarantee greater precision. The maximum cutting capacity for fixed angle notching machines reaches a thickness of 8 mm with a cutting angle of 90 degrees.

The most important characteristic is the patented automatic adjustment of the slack between the blades from 1 to 6 mm in thickness. The cut may start from the tip or the base of the blades, and the auto-adjustment system between the upper and the lower blades allows simultaneous cutting of different thicknesses.

The AF/P series is prearranged for the mounting of the punch head. The shearing head is mounted on rigid columns to prevent load oscillation of the head during the punching phase. However, during the notching phase the shearing head must be able to oscillate in the four directions to allow the auto-adjustment of the upper blades with respect to the lower ones. For this purpose two locking levers are set to the rear of the machine with the function of blocking or unblocking the head depending on whether the machine is punching or notching.

VARIABLE ANGLE NOTCHING MACHINES

The variable angle notching machines are available in three versions: the AV series, which includes the AV/B and AV/PA, the LC series and the AV180. All models boast a solid structure, a shearing head in GS500 fusion with downwards movement, and the workbench is fitted with conical slots for housing of the squares. The conical form of the slots has been designed especially to give greater rigidity to the squares to guarantee greater precision. The different models of variable angle notching machines offer a great variety of choice, both in terms of cutting capacity (thicknesses between 1 and 10 mm) and cutting angle (from 30 to 180 degrees).

The most important characteristic is the patented automatic adjustment of the slack between the blades from 1 to 6 mm in thickness. The cut may start from the tip or the base of the blades, and the auto-adjustment system between the upper and lower blades allows simultaneous cutting of different thicknesses.

All models in this series are equipped with hydraulic blade blockage. The AV/PA version is predisposed for the mounting of a punch head for carrying out drilling, beading, nibbling, shutter slits, straight cuts and so on. There is also the option of activating the cutting or punching unit via the special reversing button.

The LC series, with variable angle from 30 to 135 degrees, boasts a robust C-shaped structure capable of supporting even sizeable loads. In fact it is one of the few on the market capable of cutting sheet metal up to a thickness of 10 mm, guaranteeing perfect cutting even on elevated thicknesses. The mobile group is well guided and blade slack is adjusted mechanically via two pawls set at the front of the machine.

The AV180 series is the only machine on the market with a cutting capacity of up to 180 desgrees without moving the sheet metal from one angle to the other, and it is for this very characteristic patented system that it lends itself to use in automatic line and in CN. The shearing head in GS500 is mounted on 4 anti-flexion columns and the robust supports on the head and under the workbench guarantee absolute machine rigidity. The direct frontal reading of the cutting angle avoids laborious calculations between the blades and the squares.
