Resato Waterjet

Our cutting machines are manufactured by Resato International which is one of the few suppliers of waterjet cutting machines world wide that manufactures the cutting tables as well as the high pressure pumps on their own account.

With our association with Resato we are able to offer a unique concept in waterjet technology - a waterjet cutting machine, with direct linear drives on each of the main axes (X, Y and Z) with the main features:

Robust and stable steel precision construction, provided with direct linear drives on all axes.

-         Drives are shielded by stainless steel protection plating and bellows

-         The bridge is driven on both sides of the table.

-         No influence of mechanical defects (e.g. through changes in temperature) on the accuracy of the machine because of mechanical / electronic compensation.

-         Standard supplied with maximum three Resato cutting heads type VJW.

-         Jetlift Linear Z-axis, maintenance free, with height sensor and collision protection.

-         Electronic abrasive feeder system

-         Simple and easy-to-learn machine operation by way of a 15" mobile touch panel special designed for waterjet applications.

-         Electronic monitoring system EMS for unmanned operation

-         Supplied with Resato Powercam Software

Direct Linear Drive Principle
The direct linear drive principle ensures:

-         A better cutting performance and absolute repeatability (zero-backlash) in position of the nozzle head compared to mechanical transmission components like ball screws, rack and pinion and gear boxes

-         Maintenance free operation thanks to the non-contact principle

-         A wide speed range of the cutting and jogging speed, adjustable from very low to very high

-         Immediate response, enabling fast changes in cutting speed

Accuracy (per axis)

-         Position accuracy: +/- 0.02 mm / m

Advantages

-         Higher cutting performance

-         Better cutting quality

-         Less maintenance

-         Easy and user friendly operation

-         No toxic or fume discharge

-         No material discolouration

-         High yield of material - cost savings

Waterjet Cutting has Endless Possibilities

-         Waterjet cutting technology is one of the fastest growing major machine tool processes in the world due to its versatility and ease of operation

-         Manufacturers are realising that there are virtually no limits to what waterjets are capable of cutting and machining

-         Machine shops of all sizes are realising greater efficiency and productivity by implementing UHP waterjets in their operations

-         Waterjets are becoming the machine tool of choice for many shops. What makes waterjets so popular?

-         Waterjets require few secondary operations, produce net-shaped parts with no heat affected zone, heat distortion, or mechanical stresses caused by other cutting methods, can cut with a narrow kerf, and can provide better usage of raw material since parts can be tightly nested

-         As a result of the Resato MMI Touch screen control system waterjets are extremely easy to use

-         Typically, operators can be trained in hours and are producing high quality parts in hours

-         Additionally, waterjets can cut virtually any material, leaving a satin smooth edge

-         These benefits add up to significant cost savings per part in industries that have traditionally defined productivity by cost per hour

Applicable Materials

Examples of materials which can be cut are: Stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, brass, and high-alloy nickel steels, glass, marble, granite and ceramic, plywood, plaster, mineral wool, leather, rubber, plastics, textiles, foams, sealing materials, foodstuffs: pastry, meat, fish, baked goods, deep-frozen products paper and cardboard composites and hybrid plate materials.
