Safan continues to work passionately on more efficient solutions conforming to its motto: 'the evolution in sheet-metal working'. Electronics plays an increasingly larger role in this, as demonstrated by the latest generation of guillotine shears: the SAFAN B-Shear.
At its core is the advanced hybrid drive for the cutting beam. This consists of a servo-electronic motor and hydraulic pump, a combination that produces a remarkably quiet and energy saving system. In addition, the Safan B-Shear offers a series of innovative extras, such as a programmable starting position for the cutting beam, automatic x axis compensation when setting the clearance and Touch Screen control with data management of the cutting programmes.
Since Safan only produces the Safan B-Shear in one standard model (310-6) with standard options and providing the same high grade quality and functionality as the Safan M-Shear it is surprisingly low priced.
Safan's experience and techical ingenuity in the area of efficient sheetmetal shearing is further combined in the SAFAN M-Shear. The result is an extremely functional design that satisfies current requirements as well as any to be expected in the near future. Various possibilities for expansion, such as material handling systems, are already incorporated in the design. This is not surprising, as the M of Safan M-Shear stands for multifunctional.
The standard version of the SAFAN M-Shear already comes with very extensive equipment. With a large range of accessories, it is possible to satisfy your specific needs.

Many shears just cut metal. This is self-evident. When it comes to an efficient and profitable cutting process, they do not consider market needs. RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau GmbH has analyzed the shearing process. The result is the SMARTcut swing beam shear: the perfect solution when quality parts and easy material handling are required.
With its 2 mm capacity and 3100 mm cutting length the RAS SMARTcut combines all characteristics of a high performance, premium shear. The sheet support and sorting system leads the blanks to the backstop and sorts cut pieces to the front or the rear. When material thicknesses change, the blade clearance can be adjusted in seconds. The front and side beveled shear tables, the hardened squaring arm and the deep grip hollows simplify material handling for quick results. This is cutting efficiency at its best. The SMARTcut comes with two machine models. The highest comfort level is offered by a best value, fast and dynamic CNC-backstop.
Easy to operate and for lower budgets is the manual backstop, which can be positioned from the front. Both backstops offer a travel range of up to 750 mm. A foot lever determines, whether the part chute delivers the cut pieces to the front or the rear. This allows the operator to separate trim cuts or small parts from large parts without additional, later on sorting effort. With its 2 mm capacity and 3100 mm cutting length the RAS SMARTcut combines all characteristics of a high performance, premium shear.
